When she reaches the register, she will remember she has a coupon, and will dig in her purse to find it.
When she cannot find it, she will ask you if you have it.
When you say you do not have it, she will empty everything out of her purse onto the floor of the store to find it.
When she has found the coupon, she will give it to the cashier, and the cashier will give her the total.
When the cashier gives her the total, she will realize she forgot the gift card…
